Mitakawani Ceylon Cinnamon Quills

(5 customer reviews)

£6.50

These Ceylon cinnamon quills come from Mitakawani village, grown by Zuhura who took over the farm when her father went blind. Generally our farmers in Mitakawani don’t make Ceylon cinnamon quills because they are extremely labour intensive and they have plenty of other chores to do, but for Ujamaa Spice they decided to make a limited batch of super sweet & clean ceylon cinnamon quills. These are made from slightly older trees, making them very sweet and highly concentrated in flavour.

Comes in a 50g home compostable pack!

You will love them!

Who grew our Mitakawani Ceylon Cinnamon Quills?
Zuhura
Mitakawani
Right in the middle of the Southern island of Unguja lies the small village of Mitakawani. Far removed from any lucrative tourist spots, villagers are completely reliant on spice farming. Since most of the people here only have small plots of land, they tend to mix their relatively small harvests together and share the profits.
