Description

Turmeric Latte Blend

Tired of artificial tasting ‘turmeric lattés’ with barely any turmeric full of who knows what else?
This is Ujamaa’s Spice take on a turmeric latte, made from our award winning turmeric powder from our women cooperative in Kibeni village. This blend also includes our Kidichi black pepper to improve the absorption of the turmeric in your body, a touch of Kidichi cinnamon for that citrussy sweetness, a hint of Mitakawani yellow cardamom to further enhance the floral citrus notes and a sprinkle of our award winning mitakawani ginger. Mix it with any (plant)milk and a sweetener of your choice.

Directions: 1 teaspoon per 250ml cup. Place your milk and the turmeric latte blend in a pot and whisk constantly over a gentle heat. Once hot, pour into cups and sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon to serve.

Our turmeric latte blend contains around 60% of turmeric, the other ingredients work in synergy with the turmeric.

Who grew our Turmeric Latte?
grown in zanzibar
by our partners
Our spices come from small villages and subsistence farmers. With us you won’t find any large scale, orderly rows of monoculture spice plants. Instead, you will find our spices growing between the banana and jackfruit trees which the farmers use to feed themselves and their families.
